My work
Growing up, I was often the victim of bullying. This led to intense struggles with my mental health. I would often feel scared to talk about it. Although representation of mental health problems is starting to improve, it still feels like a delicate subject. I want people (especially teens) to be able to talk openly about mental health. That is why my work is focused on this topic. I hope that people can relate to my shows and feel empowered by them.
I hope that my work will help people open up about their mental health. Even if one person in the audience feels something when watching my shows, that would be amazing. Creating this work has been challenging but incredibly rewarding. Hopefully I will see you at my next performance!
